FINALLY IM LAUNCHING THIS BAD BOY!!!

Im am soo excited to share my NEW website and blog design with you all. It's been a straight week of me sitting in front of the computer, hounding my friend Pat for code and constantly bugging BJ with 'Now click here... What do you think?... How about this?... Now click here'.

I'm soo proud what i've achieved and I hope you all like it.

I have some really good posts coming up in the very near future that I cannot wait to share.
But until then... Here's a video of Cooper when he was a puppy playing with a plastic bag... hehehee

Fork This 54 - Etiquette Piper

This weeks episode of Fork This is now available. When we went to the 100Yen store, BJ bought an 'Etiquette Pipe'.

I am also excited to share that this week i will be launching my new website and blog. I've been working hard to re-design it and make it look good. I can't wait to hear what you all think about it :)

My Goals - June

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So I've decided that I'm going to set at least 5 goals at the beginning of each month for me to achieve. 

Nothing ridiculously hard, just things to get me moving and motivated.

And I'm going to blog my goals each month to make myself accountable.

So here are my goals for June:

1/ Post out earrings to Ellen and Erin (with a little extra something special for the wait)

2/ Make something new! Don't care if it's jewelry, resin, clay - just something

3/ Decide weather or not to renew www.silhouettesofknights.com and my store

4/ Change my hair in some way - New colour? New Style? New cut?

5/ Find a way to make some new friends

6/ Blog more!

7/ Get out my SLR and Diana at least once for some photo fun

8/ Continue with the diary i started last month

9/ Listen to more music

10/ Smile!

So they are my goals for June. I will keep my blog updated on how i go with them, and will also post if im looking for ideas or help with any of them. (I'm always open to suggestions.)

So my partner BJ Carter and I have decided to start a video podcast called 'Fork This'.

I've thought of many ways to try and explain it and i just cannot find the right words to really make it sound awesome.

It's going to be little videos of the two of us. We'll do cooking episodes, advernture episodes, flashbacks on our travels, updates on our lives... pretty much anything and everything.

I thought it was a great idea to start this podcast because we have soo many friends overseas and this gives them an opportunity to see what we are upto and where life is taking us.

But also i thought it would be a lot of fun and a way to show our odd side to the world.

We've finally appeared in iTunes (After waiting about a week) and The first episode will air this Sunday 5th June.

Shrink Plastic

I've found a new favourite craft.

Shrink Plastic.

I have had a few goes of it and have come up with some awesome pieces of jewelry.

I've uploaded some photos to flickr and facebook for everyone to see. They wont be available on my website until the end of September as i and going oversea's for a month.

I have a few more photos to put up of some really special pieces i made but i can't just yet as they are presents for some friends.

No Motivation

I haven't been blogging lately because I've not been feeling very creative lately. 

I don't know if it's the weather or the full time job but when i do get some time on the weekends to myself the last thing I've felt like doing is making something.

I haven't gotten many online ordered from my website which has left me unmotivated to create new things and put them up. I have gotten any negative feedback, and the site is getting well over 300 hits a month, but nothing is coming from it.

I was thinking about taking it down but I'm still not sure. 

I usually get motivated when a birthday comes around and i that a creative gift would be nice, but there haven't really  been any recently.

On top of working full time i am also saving and planning for a trip back to the USA. I'm excited for when i get there and i get to go to their craft stores... I will bring back some awesome new supplies which will hopefully get me more motivated. 

If anyone has any suggestions of what they might like to see on my site, I would love the feedback.

Finally a REAL Blog

I finally setup a proper blog that (soon) will go onto my new website.
This blog will be filled with whatever i can think of, hopefully including updates on my crafts and sales.

Im still not sure about this layout, but i like having a blog that people and 'follow' and comment on.
It has taken me all night to get this how i want it and i needed to write a blog to test it out and make sure everything is running smooth. (please note that the website links currently arent active, but soon)
