Today We Remember - August 2008

In 2008 BJ and I went off to backpack across the globe. We started in July with a week in Hawaii, then another in Seattle before we arrived in LA in August.

We went to the Orange County Fair with our dear friends Sal, Nataly, Jenae and Chris and it was a night we'd never forget... the night we met Samuel.

The men decided to play a skill game were you have to try and throw a baseball into a milk jug.
BJ said and i quote 'No one wins at these games... these stupid carnies rig everything!'

We miss you Samuel, but we couldn't stand between you and your dream of being a secondhand awnings salesman.

Decorations

For Kaia's 6th Birthday I made some decorations for the celebration. Some cute tissue paper pom poms and an adorable flag bunting for the cake. (I also baked the cake). Kaia was most excited when I told her she could take the pom poms home and hang them in her room.
