The artwork fits in exactly with the album subject matter and the name of the month. A photo of an army marching just made sense. The punk album was something I had been wanting to do for a while. I regret some of the choices I made with the songs I put on there, but all in all, I'm pretty happy with it.

BJ created this promo video leading up to the MARCH album release date.
When BJ was making this album i didn't think i'd enjoy it as much as some of the others. I like a lot of punk-rock music but BJ likes a lot that i don't really care for. In saying that, this album is probably the album i played the most out of the first three albums. It get's me pumped on my drive to work and it's just such a fun album to listen to. We'd love to know what you think of MARCH and if you would like a digital copy of the album send me an email silhouettesofknights@gmail.com
This weekend our friends Dawn and Drew of The Dawn & Drew Show are celebrating their 1000th episode with Dawn-A-Pa-Drew-Za 5.0. We weekend filled with camping, drinking, minions and fun in a barn in Wisconsin.
Dawn and Drew have been doing their fantastic podcast since 2004 and are one of the longest running podcasts out there. BJ and I have been big DnD fans for years and are lucky enough to call them our friends.
We were also lucky to go to Dawn-A-Pa-Drew-Za-3za in 2008, when we were traveling the States. We got to spend a week on the Dawn and Drew Farm, help setup for the festivities AND i got to celebrate in my 22nd birthday with a group of amazing people from all over the USA.
We decided this week's episode was to be in flashback to that grand week on the farm - Making new friends, getting dressed up, being drunk as and having a ball.

PS: Yes that is me at the beginning chugging from a GIANT Tequila bottle on stage... Happy Birthday to ME!!!
PPS: How fantastically horrid were our costumes... Those mullet wigs are still hanging up in the DnD Barn today (Which makes me smile whenever i see a photo)
PPPS: The lovely song on our episode is called 'Girls On Girls' by Smitten Bayou.
In 2008 BJ and I went off to backpack across the globe. We started in July with a week in Hawaii, then another in Seattle before we arrived in LA in August.
We went to the Orange County Fair with our dear friends Sal, Nataly, Jenae and Chris and it was a night we'd never forget... the night we met Samuel.
The men decided to play a skill game were you have to try and throw a baseball into a milk jug. BJ said and i quote 'No one wins at these games... these stupid carnies rig everything!'
We miss you Samuel, but we couldn't stand between you and your dream of being a secondhand awnings salesman.
This weekend BJ and i went away to Rosebud to celebrate our 7th Anniversary (Wow!).
We spent all day Saturday at the Peninsula Hot Springs and had a lovely relaxing day, followed by a beautiful Thai dinner. Sunday we did some wondering around some vintage and op shops and grabbed lunch before heading back to pick up the boy. We had planned to film some stuff this weekend but decided instead to just enjoy our weekend.
So we put together this video instead... A classic!
